08/06/2017
For the tenth time in a row, KKC awarded the Purpose and Meaning prize for two 8th-grade students of Šilas Secondary School Ukmergė. The teachers of the school decided to nominate Rokas Burneika and Osvaldas Keburius this year. During the award ceremony, the originator of the prize and a graduate of Šilas School, KKC’s Managing Director, PhD Asta Kupčinskaitė-Ryklienė said: “The aim of this prize is to motivate schoolchildren to pursue their purpose boldly and make sense of their work and endeavours. Each year the award makes an addition to Šilas School’s Gallery of Honour previously launched as part of the Encourage the Future project. We are extremely happy that nomination for the award and the award ceremony have become a strong and much-awaited tradition of the school.”
